It took a breakup with their long-time label Capitol to give Radiohead the freedom to try out new channels of distribution. Perhaps the ultimate sign of the times then is that the band's old label is using free online streaming as a method for promoting Radiohead: The Best Of.
Capitol/EMI will be offering the entire 30-song special edition of the new compilation, plus music videos from the accompanying DVD, to imeem users as free streams, ahead of the June 3rd release.
Imeem users can also create and embed their own Radiohead music and video playlists on external blogs or social networking profiles.
