Microsoft today announced a deal that will install the software company's Live Search-enabled toolbar on all U.S. and Canadian HP PCs shipped after January, 2009. Microsoft is using Silverlight to build the custom toolbar for HP users.
"This agreement with HP is a strategic indicator of our increased focus on securing broad-scale distribution for Live Search," said Kevin Johnson, Microsoft's president of the Platforms
