The big announcement from Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer's talk at the D6 conference yesterday was the addition of multi-touch features in Windows 7. Now the company is looking toward the release of an SDK for the new technology, set to occur during Microsoft's Professional Developers Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center in October.
During the conference, the company will "highlight the new multi-touch gesture APIs and explain how you can leverage them in your applications," it says.
