University of California, San Diego to Answer How Much Information is in the World

After being in New York City for a little over a month now, I have noticed that there is a lot of information everywhere. Even on the sides of buses. But exactly how much information is too much? A team of researchers at the University of California, San Diego, announced today a new study to answer this question by quantifying the amounts and kinds of information coming from businesses and consumers. The study will be conducted at the Global Information Industry Center at the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS).
